We are asking you to lift a family up in prayer who were not flooded, but where directly affected. A family of three, two children age 12 and 10. During the flood, the children lost their stepfather in the floodwaters. Three days ago, a family friend who has a history of drug dependance dropped her 3 children off to this family saying she could no longer care for them. They had been homeless and had not attended school in a few weeks. This family does not have any money for the holidays. Their mother works full time, but can barely make ends meet and needs clothing an school supplies for the new children ages 7, 10, and 13.
